FAQs
Have a question? We have answers. We even have answers for questions you didn’t know you had.
Q: Are there any room blocks available for your wedding?
A: Unfortunately, no—blocks are few and far between on the Cape in the summer. Check out our Where To Stay page for a number of great options near the venue. For those who are interested, we also recommend Airbnbs!
Q: Will the ceremony/reception be outside?
A: Yes! We will have beautiful views of Nauset Beach from the venue. The reception will be under a tent, but the ceremony will be outside. In the event of rain—which definitely won’t happen (!)—we’ll have a tent for that, too. We recommend shoes you can wear comfortably on the lawn!
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Dress code for the ceremony and reception is summer semi-formal.
Q: What does “summer semi-formal” mean?
A: Great question! We don’t know what any of these labels mean, either. We want everyone to look nice (suggesting jackets for men), but also want people to be comfortable. Since the ceremony is outside it could be hot—so plan your outfit accordingly. Will will be wearing a suit. Hil will be wearing a wedding dress. Please don’t out dress us. :-)
Q: How do I get to the wedding?
A: There is no parking at the Nauset Beach Inn. Checkout the Transportation page for information on shuttles for getting to and from the venue.
Q: When should I get to the wedding?
A: The ceremony will start at 3:30. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so you can grab a good seat.
Q: Will your wedding be fun?
A: Duh!
Follow up Q: How fun?
Follow up A: Mind-blowingly fun.
